Tmt Lakshmi Bangaru Adigalar was born in Uthiramerur, Tamil Nadu, on 11 February 1948. She completed her School Studies in Government High School, Uthiramerur. She completed her Teacher Training at Kanchipuram. Later she also completed B.Lit, M.A(Tamil)
She started her academic career as Teacher in the Government School, Cheyyur, Tamil Nadu, and also served at the Government Higher Secondary School, Pallavaram, Tamil Nadu. She got married to Arulthiru Adigalar in 1968 and then became the President of Melmaruvathur Adiparasakthi Spiritual Movement, Adhiparasakthi Siddar Peedam Women’s Charitable Trust, and Adiparasakthi Cultural Medical Educational & Charitable Trust. Her career, marked by a blend of academic excellence and strategic leadership, has significantly impacted the fields of education, healthcare, and community development to be continued.
