Lakshmi Bangaru arts and science College, Melmaruvathur organized an awareness programme focused on drug addiction. The aim of this programme was to educate students about the harmful effects of drugs on human health and to encourage strict measures to combat this issue. The programme began at 11:10 AM at 09/01/2025 with a general awareness presentation by the NSS program officer. He also emphasized the vital role students play in addressing the problem of drug addiction. Student ambassadors from NSS highlighted the importance of widespread awareness regarding the dangers of using illicit drugs. At the conclusion of the event, NSS officers and volunteers participated in a signature campaign. The goal of this campaign was to foster a commitment to eradicating the use of illicit drugs both within the college and in the boarder community.
