The Department of Computer Applications organized a Guest Lecture on the topic “From Campus to Corporate: Build Your Career in IT” on 18th July 2025 at 10.15 AM in the LBASC Auditorium. The Guest Lecture aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations, providing students with valuable insights into career opportunities in the IT sector.

The program commenced with a formal welcome and introduction. Dr. R.S. Venkatesan, Principal of LBASC, presided over the event and shared an inspiring presidential address, emphasizing the importance of career planning and industry readiness for students pursuing computer science and applications.
The Resource person for the session was Mr. Selvaraj Harikrishnan, Project Manager at Encora. With 19+years of experience in the IT industry, Mr. Selvaraj H delivered an engaging and informative lecture. He discussed essential skills required to succeed in the corporate IT world, the current trends in the tech industry, resume-building tips, interview preparation, and workplace ethics. His practical examples and motivational talk were well-received by the students.
