Dr. R.S. Venkatesan is a highly accomplished and results-oriented academic leader with over 24 years of extensive experience in teaching, administration, and research within the field of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. Currently serving as the Principal of Lakshmi Bangaru Arts and Science College since Aug 2019. Dr. R.S. Venkatesan has a proven track record of effective leadership and a deep commitment to academic excellence.
Holding a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, an M.Tech. in Biotechnology, and multiple Master’s degrees, he possesses a strong educational foundation and comprehensive expertise across various areas, including Clinical Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Immunology. His technical proficiency extends to advanced laboratory methods such as HPLC, PCR, and Electrophoresis.
A dedicated researcher, Dr.R.S.Venkatesan has a 17-year research background and is a recognized Ph.D. and M.Phil. guide with Thiruvalluvar University, having mentored numerous scholars. He is a prolific author with a significant number of publications in reputable journals, focusing on topics such as the therapeutic effects of medicinal plants and the ameliorating properties of various compounds on induced biochemical changes.
