In Lakshmi Bangaru Arts and Science College, Melmaruvathur, the NSS and RRC jointly organized World AIDS Day on 01.12.2023 at 11.00 a.m.. World AIDS Day is observed on December 1 with a new theme every year and in 2023, the theme is “Let communities lead”. This year, the World Health Organisation (WHO) highlighted that communities living with, and affected by, HIV, and youth leaders have been essential for progress in the HIV response. The college Principal, NSS Programme Officer, NSS Volunteers, Staff, and 200 students participated in the event and took the World AIDS Day Pledge.
